Change the Bulb Campaign
As every nation battles with high energy prices, galloping demand, tight supplies, increased pollution, and energy security threats, it has been dire necessary to switch to efficient energy consumption and one of the most effective ways is to switch from incandescent bulb to compact fluorescent light bulbs. Daily more than 8 hours of load-shedding and unavailability of other energy supplies or fossil fuels (diesel, petrol, gas, kerosene) has made Nepalese daily life more challenging. The only way out of this problem is to switch to energy saving methodologies and conversion to renewable energy.

The objectives of the project are :

• To raise awareness on the wise use of energy and advocate to replace incandescent bulbs with energy efficient devices such as CFL
• To reduce energy consumption though the technology transfer (Incandescent to CFL)
