| YES Campaign |
The YES Campaign is an action-oriented collective initiative in 55 countries to tackle the global challenge of youth unemployment through youth leadership and youth entrepreneurship. The campaign was launched by 1600 delegates from 120 countries at the Alexandria Youth Employment Summit, in Egypt, September 11, 2002.
The YES campaign believes that the key development challenges are to be addressed through promotion of youth employment. There are 83 country networks to build up the youth capacity for establishing entrepreneurial culture there by creating sustainable livelihoods. Till date lives of 1 million youth have been affected by the YES program and there has been extensive community re-investment.
